Pottery

For the past 15 years, Jacob Grant has studied and worked in the field of ceramics. He started making pottery at Eastern Illinois University, where he received his bachelor's degree. In 2005, he moved to Peoria where he earned his Master of Fine Art degree in 2008.

Jacob has displayed and sold his work internationally and nationally. His work can be seen in Downtown Disney at the Portobello Restaurant, The Four Seasons in Washington, D.C., and locally at Senara Spa in Peoria, Illinois. Large wall installations hae also been displayed at ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, Michigan and at The Peoria Riverfront Museum. He has also been published numerous times in publications all over the world.

Most recently, Jacob Grant has been working to build up his pottery business, Wheel Art Pottery Studios. Here, classes and workshops are taught, parties are put on, pottery is sold through their gallery, and membership is offered to people who can independently make ceramic objects.
