A central Illinois native Jeremie received her B.F.A. in Glass from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 2002 and was a Rickert-Ziebold winner. Shortly after graduating she moved to Oregon to work with world renowned artists. In 2007 she moved back to her hometown area accepting the catering director position at Echo Valley Meats & built a small, solo friendly hot shop.
For a spring month in 2013 Jeremie worked on a project with The Corning Museum of Glass and saw the need to share her passion with her own community. In July 2014, she moved her studio to Studios on Sheridan in Peoria and in October 2014, she launched JDraper Glass offering her services full time to include classes, workshops, private events, team building workshops and demonstrations.
